"When I first got to college I was pretty awestruck from all the new experiences and things I was seeing. For the first time I was truly away from home. One of the things I wanted to do was to find a church group to belong to...The first place I happened to come to was the UCM one and fell in love with it. It was a very hospitable environment and had the feel of a peace spiritual sanctuary. I remember how in freshman year I would always look forward to going to the evening services. It was great to have a place to eat and chat with friends and at the same time have a place for deep spiritual reflection and worship... College is a time when faith is truly tested due to the high amount of stress and uncertainties...I believe that the UCM has helped to guide me through my college experience."
